Pediatric Congenital Heart Disease Conference & Quality Improvement (CATH CONF)

In this multi-disciplinary series, learners will gain the skills to critically review and evaluate pre-operative approaches, echocardiography, heart catheterization, new data, literature, and incorporating best practices, as well as analyze selected cases using department quality indicators. Through increased collaboration of pediatric and surgical physicians, nurses, and echo technologists, learners will form a breadth of knowledge leading to greater treatment options for the pediatric patient with congenital heart disease. 

1. Critically evaluate pre-operative approaches, echocardiography, heart catheterization, new data, literature, and incorporating best practices.
2. Critically review and analyze selected cases using department quality indicators.
3. Improve collaboration between Pediatrics, Surgery, physicians, nurses, and echo technologists.
4. Expand and deepen knowledge of treatment options for the pediatric patient with congenital heart disease.
