The Orthopaedic Surgery Morbidity and Mortality Conference Series explores recent patient M&M complications.  In these sessions, case studies are analyzed and assessed serving to determine systemic or physician areas of quality improvement. Through robust discussion best practice guidelines, prevention strategies and evidence-based methods are identified and implemented for improving care to current clinical and surgical quality improvement efforts.

In this series learners critically examine research article study design, determine if statistical analysis is appropriately applied, evaluate if the study is adequately powered, and the conclusion drawn is supported by the available evidence, gaining competence to integrate evidence based skills into clinical practice.
