MIND: HEARTS and MIND Conference Series, learners are actively engaged in improving care for persons with neurodevelopmental disorders and their families.  Through case study, examination of current literature, and best-practice application exercises, learners gain skills in self-awareness, communication, and the delivery of systematic processes for improved care delivery, as well as have opportunity to identify and propose new initiatives for improved patient outcomes. Sessions will address issues related to health equity and social determinants of health.

Objective(s): 1 To understand the risk factors and prevalence of FASD. 2 To learn about primary symptoms and comorbid conditions associated with FASD. 3 To become more familiar with important strategies and resources when caring for patients with FASD.
