The Orthopaedic Surgery Morbidity and Mortality Conference Series explores recent patient M&M complications.  In these sessions, case studies are analyzed and assessed serving to determine systemic or physician areas of quality improvement. Through robust discussion best practice guidelines, prevention strategies and evidence-based methods are identified and implemented for improving care to current clinical and surgical quality improvement efforts.

 The Hematology and Oncology: Hereditary Cancer Program Journal Club engages learners in rigorous examination of the field's literature/research, assessing competence by review of the primary literature, evaluation of the data, organization and delivery for presentation, and communication skills. 

Hematology and Oncology: Journal Club in this series, learners will critically assess the research/literature covering background, hypothesis, methods, intervention, results, conclusions and critical discussion/insights for potential application.

In the Psychiatry Grand Rounds Series, case presentations are integrated with critical evaluation of evidence-based literature to appraise novel treatment protocols and intervention skills to ensure continuous patient management and outcomes are appropriately enhanced.

In this series, a wide range of physical medicine and rehabilitation topics are covered to enhance learners' competence and performance for improved patient care and outcomes.  Topics include, but are not limited to best practices in clinical care, the latest research in the field of rehabilitation medicine, medical ethics, and rehabilitation technology. 

In the Nephrology Transplant Grand Round Series, learners will identify treatment expectations and assess updates on immunosuppressive regimens, pre-transplant management, and post-transplant comorbidities for improved patient care and outcomes.   

The goal of the course will be to utilize our specialists to present topics that focus on chronic disease management, population health issues, and social determinants of health.
